Hi Andrew, thanks for your conversation starting comment. You’ll have to excuse the tongue in cheek tone and click-baity/motivation porn title on this one. I’m not saying that planners are better than pansters; I’m a panster myself. I’m getting into the nuts and bolts of story structure because I found that as a panster, not having a sense of how stories work crippled my novels. All the love, joy, and hard work led to a bit of a mess. This guide is meant to show fellow pantsers the benefits of at least considering an outline, even if you don’t follow it. Doing that hard heavy lifting that we discovery writers kinda abhor could be a lifesaver down the road. Of course if your process works for ya, you do you! (Obviously.)
